Welcome to Listening Station. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these terms.
Our services
Listening Station offers friendly, non-clinical conversation through scheduled phone calls and thoughtful email replies. The description and price of each service appear on its purchase page. Our services are for adults age 18 and older.
Not professional or emergency support
Listening Station is not therapy, counseling, mental health treatment, medical care, crisis support, or professional advice. If you need urgent help, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional.
Phone appointments
Listening Station will call the phone number you provide at the scheduled time. Please make sure your number is correct and that you are available to answer. The conversation ends at its scheduled time, even if you answer late.
Changing or missing a phone appointment
Please let us know at least 12 hours before your scheduled call if you need to change it. If something comes up with less than 12 hours to go, contact us before the call begins. You may reschedule a call once, and your payment will cover the new appointment. We do not offer refunds for customer cancellations.
If you miss your call without contacting us beforehand, the payment is nonrefundable and the call cannot be rescheduled.
If Listening Station needs to cancel, we will let you know as soon as we can. You may choose another available time or receive a full refund.
Written conversations
A written conversation is a one-time purchase for one thoughtful email reply, as described on its purchase page. It is not a recurring membership. Once we have sent your reply, the purchase is nonrefundable. If Listening Station cannot provide the reply you purchased, we will offer a full refund.
Respectful use
Please use Listening Station respectfully. We may end a conversation or discontinue service if communication becomes abusive, threatening, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate. If we discontinue a service before providing it, we will address any payment for the unused service fairly.
Privacy
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send information you are uncomfortable sharing through a phone or online service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services change. The terms in effect when you make a purchase apply to that purchase.
